THE RETURN OF THE CRAZY MONKEY

  • Toki the warrior lives peacefully in the jungle with his beloved Miho. Emerging out of nowhere, the atrocious voodoo sorcerer Vookimedlo and the despicable demon Bashtar kidnap Miho and transform poor Toki into a chimpanzee! He has become hairy, slow, and nonchalant! His beloved has reason to worry...

REDISCOVER TOKI 30 YEARS LATER

  • Step into the shoes of Toki and explore stunning environments overrun by vile creatures! The Jungle, Neptune's Lake, Fire Cave, Ice Palace, Dark Jungle, and Golden Palace are infested by Vookimedlo's minions. Rescuing Miho won't be easy! These abhorrent beings, named Boloragog, Rambacha, Mogulvar, Zorzamoth, and Bashtar, are truly chilling, and Toki's appearance won't reassure you! You'll have to make do with what you have. Fortunately, Toki can walk, jump, swim, climb, and spit! Indeed, it's his skillfully used saliva that helps Toki rid himself of his enemies...

REVISIT THE LEGENDARY DIFFICULTY OF THE GOLDEN AGE OF VIDEO GAMES

  • "Insert coin"... again and again to reach the end of the adventure! Have arcade machines drained your pockets? It's time to make up for it by playing in more comfortable conditions, but with gameplay that's just as demanding. The high scores await you! However, newcomers will appreciate a more forgiving mode.

A TRUE REMAKE CRAFTED BY MASTERS

  • The game has been entirely hand-drawn by Philippe Dessoly, illustrator of famous mangas such as Albator and Goldorak, as well as comics and video games. He worked on the Amiga version of Toki in 1991 and also contributed to the game Mr. Nutz (1992). These sketches bring Toki back more beautiful and crazier than ever.
  • The music, fully reorchestrated by composer Raphael Gesqua, promises a rhythmic adventure with both retro and modern notes. This dedicated musician has already composed music for hundreds of video games.
  • On the technical side, it's the enormous work of Pierre Adane that's behind the success of this thrilling experience. The developer notably worked on Mr. Nutz (1992) and created the game Tennis Top Spin (2003).
